Today’s Hindi idiom (मुहावरा) is:
कान का कच्चा होना।
(Transliteration: Kaan ka kacha hona.)
Literal translation: To be unripe in the ear.
Figurative meaning: To be very gullible. To be quick to believe anything one hears, without giving much thought to it.
Usage in a sample sentence:
मुझे लगता है कि मेरा boss थोड़ा कान का कच्चा है, क्योंकि वह अपने दोस्तों के बातें सुनकर अपना मेहनत का पैसा कई अनजान क्षेत्रों में invest करता है।
(Transliteration: Mujhe lagta hai ki mera boss thoda kaan ka kacha hai, kyunki woh apne doston ke batein sunkar apna mehnat ka paisa kai anjaan shetron mein invest karta hai.)
Translation: I think my boss is a bit gullible, because he invests his hard-earned money in many unknown areas, after listening to his friends’ talk.
